Jan 5, 2011 – How to help His Eminence Archbishop Seraphim

On Jan 5, 2011 the leadership of  the Archdiocese announced that the letter of our parish of October 10, 2010 in support of His Eminence, Archbishop Seraphim is illegal. In accordance with this request, we have removed this letter from our website.
We apologize for any inconvenience the publication of our opinion in support of Vladyka Seraphim may have caused the alleged victims. The letter did not contain any allegations or charges in someone else’s name.. The letter did not contain any allegations and no charges in someone else’s address.

At the same time we express our respect for the rights and interests of both sides of the conflict and call on the opposite sides, and the forces behind them, including television and the press, to refrain from the publication of unproven [allegations] or accusations. In our opinion, both sides must have the same right to prove their innocence without the pressure of the press and public organizations.

We know that Archbishop Seraphim is committed to act in such situations with respect for everyone. Therefore, nobody has heard from him any statements, excuses or blame. We wish that everyone concerned would act with caution, remembering what moral and psychological harm, and what heartache may affect the many thousands of believers of the Canadian Archdiocese by the public discussion of unproven allegations against their spiritual leader.

Please check the requirements concerning the legal procedures for providing personal support to His Eminence Archbishop Seraphim, published yesterday on the Archdiocesan website at http://www.archdiocese.ca/news/2010/20101230-fund_raise_for_Vladyka_Seraphim.htm

God bless our Archdiocese with Peace and Love for others!

In Christ,
Board of Trustees of Holy Resurrection Sobor
