This is an invitation to attend our Annual Parish Meeting on March 15th 2015 at 12:30pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n In case if you are a member of our Parish and you are not able to attend the\u00a0APM , please pass your\u00a0Proxy to a\u00a0friend or\u00a0a spouse ( who is a member of the Parish in good standing).\u00a0 In this case, a friend or a spouse could vote on your behalf. Documents for the APM:<\/strong><\/p>\n What is the meaning of\u00a0a member of the Parish?<\/strong><\/p>\n In accordance with the Constitution of our\u00a0Holy Resurrection Sobor,\u00a0a\u00a0member of the Parish is a person who regularly attends Church services, partakes of\u00a0the Sacraments of Holy\u00a0Confession and Holy Communion, participates in the life of the church community, devotes his\/ her time or talent towards the growth of the Parish, provides financial support and pays membership dues.<\/p>\n The Member of the Parish has the right to vote at the APM when major decisions are made about life and financial activity of the Parish.<\/p>\n Payment of Membership dues:<\/strong><\/p>\n At present time, our annual membership payment is $140. New members are offered to pay\u00a0half of \u00a0their Membership dues\u00a0for the first two years.\u00a0Your donations to the\u00a0Parish could be claimed for Income Tax Returns<\/strong> and receipts will be issued at the end of the fiscal year.<\/p>\n Please pay<\/strong> your dues completely or in two, three installments before the March 15th APM.<\/strong><\/p>\n On March 15, 2015, after the Divine Liturgy <\/strong>there will be Pot-Luck\u00a0\u00a0Lunch. \nYou may make the Membership Payment in Cash or Cheque\u00a0 to our Treasurer Pavel Sorokin.
\nAll income, including Membership payments, is used for\u00a0the church expenses and needs for renovations, bill payments, etc.\u00a0 The income and expenses are budgeted every year at the APM and confirmed by\u00a0members.<\/p>\n
