On Friday, May 24, at our church held a historic event – we venerated the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God.
During the prayer service and akathist together with our rector Fr Michael the following clergy served:

Priest Nicholas Olhovsky – Guardian of the Kursk-Root Icon from New York (ROCOR)

Archpriest Serge Overt – The Dean of British Columbia and the rector of the Holy Trinity Church, Vancouver (ROCOR)

After akathist Fr Nicholas spoke about the history of the icon.
