By the collective prayer of the monks for deliverance from the coronavirus over MT Athos the Apparition of the Virgin took place on March 27, 2020.
The image was clearly visible from the two monasteries of Simon Peter and Grigoriou.
The monks also received instructions from the Virgin to anoint the doorposts of the front doors with holy oil.
