Hi Matushka Elena,
I hope you’re well. I wanted to share this message we received from the Serbian church and kindly ask if it might be possible to pass it along to our parishioners at Holy Resurrection. It’s such a beautiful blessing for our community, and we’d love for everyone to come and venerate the Holy Belt of the Most Holy Theotokos.

The Holy Belt of the Most Holy Theotokos is one of the greatest sacred treasures of the Christian world, bearing witness to Her earthly life and Her unceasing presence among us. The faithful have prayed before it for centuries, seeking Her protection and intercession, and have never left without consolation.

A portion of this holy relic, blessed and sanctified upon the Holy Belt, will be available for veneration at our church:

📅 *Thursday, August 27* – 6pm Vespers
📅 *Friday, August 28 (Dormition of the Mother of God)* – 10am Divine Liturgy
📅 *Sunday, August 30* – 10am Divine Liturgy
